Aiden McMichael was born in 1999 in Austin, Texas, USA, and currently resides in San Antonio, Texas. He is a multidisciplinary artist whose diverse practice encompasses painting, drawing, and digital design. McMichael draws inspiration from modern art movements of the 20th century, evident in his oeuvre which includes oil paintings on canvas and found objects, mixed media drawings, and surreal and narrative digital artwork. He is best known for his oversized oil paintings that harmoniously blend representational and abstract expressionistic styles. McMichael's artworks are characterized by intricate layers ranging from delicate washes to bold impasto, and a dynamic use of color palette—from saturated hues to muted tones.
